Zhangjiajie Travel Guide

Zhangjiajie city is situated on the semitropical monsoon humid climate zone with a modest climate, plentiful sunshine, flush rainfalls, fertile land and rich tourist resources.

Zhangjiajie is famous worldwide for its pristine national scenery and the government's potent policy on tourist infrastructure construction in recent year has boosted the region's tourist industry and made it one of the new-rising popular tourist destinations in China.

Zhangjiajie's main tourist draw is the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, which was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list for its lush vegetation, unique sandstone pillars, pristine waters and a wide variety of species of flora and fauna. It contains three major sights including the Zhangjiajie Forest Park, Suoxi Vale, and Tianzi Mountain with total coverage is 396 square kilometers.
Zhangjiajie city is an energetic tourist city. Nine Percent of the city, about 500 square kilometers, has been zoned as provincial national scenic spot, and natural protection zone.

Featuring scenic spots and historical sites such as Puguang Temple, Yuhuang Dong Rock Cave, together with the former residence of renowned Helong and Duxin's. The area has become an attractive cultural tour destination. The local minority flavor and folk Wushu are popular both home and abroad.

My home town and its cuisine

Today I'd like to make a introduction of my hometown Hunan. Hunan(Chinese: 湖南; pinyin: Húnán) is a province of China, located in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and south of Lake Dongting (hence the name Hunan, meaning "south of the lake"). Hunan is sometimes called 湘 (pinyin: Xiāng) for short, after the Xiang River which runs through the province. The capital is Changsha.

Hunan cuisine is noted for its use of chili peppers. Chili pepper (also known as, or spelled, chilli pepper, chilli, chili, and chile). They are widely used as spices or vegetables in cuisine in my hometown.

General knowledge about LED

LED lighting, as a new lighting solution, has attracted more and more attentions from the people inside and outside the lighting industry. However, there are still a lot of people who do not have general knowledge about LED, So LED business face a lot of difficulty in terms of marketing for the time being.
As the increasing requirments of LED lighting from the whole world, it is indeed necessary to publish the LED information for the people.
Here are some basic info about LED, hope it will be helpful for your understanding.
What is LED?
LED stands for Light Emitting Diode, a kind of semiconductor which is used to give and receive the electronic signal into infrared rays or light, using the characteristics of compound semiconductor. This is used for household appliances, remote controller, electric bulletin board, various kinds of automation appliances.
What Causes the LED to Emit Light and What Determines the Color of the Light?
When sufficient voltage is applied to the chip across the leads of the LED, electrons can move easily in only one direction across the junction between the p and n regions. In the p region there are many more positive than negative charges. In the n region the electrons are more numerous than the positive electric charges. When a voltage is applied and the current starts to flow, electrons in the n region have sufficient energy to move across the junction into the p region. Once in the p region the electrons are immediately attracted to the positive charges due to the mutual Coulomb forces of attraction between opposite electric charges. When an electron moves sufficiently close to a positive charge in the p region, the two charges "re-combine".Each time an electron recombines with a positive charge, electric potential energy is converted into electromagnetic energy. For each recombination of a negative and a positive charge, a quantum of electromagnetic energy is emitted in the form of a photon of light with a frequency characteristic of the semi-conductor material (usually a combination of the chemical elements gallium, arsenic and phosphorus). Only photons in a very narrow frequency range can be emitted by any material. LED''s that emit different colors are made of different semi-conductor materials, and require different energies to light them
How Much Energy Does an LED Emit?
The electric energy is proportional to the voltage needed to cause electrons to flow across the p-n junction. The different colored LED''s emit predominantly light of a single color. The energy (E) of the light emitted by an LED is related to the electric charge (q) of an electron and the voltage (V) required to light the LED by the expression: E = qV Joules. This expression simply says that the voltage is proportional to the electric energy, and is a general statement which applies to any circuit, as well as to LED''s. The constant q is the electric charge of a single electron, -1.6 x 10-19 Coulomb.

Classmates Reunion

Graduated from Senior High School for 5 years, we keep very good contact with our classmates. Last year is the first one all of us finished our university study, we get job and earn money, that means no more our parents monitoring. So we call our best friends and hold a reunion at the end of 2008 in our Alma Mater (The school tha we had attended).

We are all so happy and exciting when we see each other. We are roommates when we were in school, so, there are lot of good memory when we see the teaching buildings, the basketball playground, the trees and so on. We joking each other like that time. So happy!

There is a old saying in Chinese: more friends, more easy for your life. That's absolutely right! I'd like to say, my friends, you are my treasure!

Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year or Spring Festival is the most important of the traditional Chinese Holidays. It is sometimes called the Lunar New Year, especially by people outside China. The festival traditinally begins on the first day of the first lunar month in the Chinese calendar and ends on the 15th, this day is called Lantern Festival.
The Chinese New Year celebrations are marked by visits to kin, relatives and friends, a practice know as "new-year visits". New clothings are usually worn to signify a new year. The color red is liberally used in all decorations. Red packets are give to juniors and chiildren by the married and elders.

Third time go for Wutong Mountain

I was climbed Shenzhen Wutong Mountain for 3 times, but never reach to the real top of it, too high! Even if so, I feel exhausted every time when I go there.
There are so many people go there for climbing every weekend. Most of them are the same age as me, but there are also some old people and children, oh, they are real something! The children always give me a lot courage when I thinking of give up, haha.

What LED is?

LED: A light-emitting-diode, is a semiconductor diode that emits light when an electric current is applied in the forward direction of the device, as in the simple LED circuit. The effect is a form of electroluminescence where incoherent and narrow-spectrum light is emitted from the p-n junction.

LEDs are widely used as indicator lights on electronic devices and increasingly in higher power applications such as flashlights and area lighting. An LED is usually a small area light source, often with optics added to the chip to shape its radiation pattern and assist in reflection. The color of the emitted light depends on the compostion and condition of the semiconducting material used, and can be infrared, visible, or ultraviolet. Besides lighting, interesting applications include using UV-LEDs for sterilization of water and disinfection of devices, and as a grow light to enhance photosynthesis in plants.

Thursday again

Today is Thursday again, my time for blog written.

I will go and see two of my best friends on this weekend, oh, it is hard to believe that we haven't see each other for almost half a year, and we are in the same city. Too busy to get together.

Well, time passes and the situation has changed so much, I still remember that when we was in university there are so many time for us to spend together, we can go to shopping together, go to internet cafe and spend a whole night there, go to public house for fun...but now, we are all busy with our own thing, have no time to enjoy our time together, even if a normal weekend, seems so hard.

So, enjoy the time with everyone beside you as once we say Goodbye, it is really very hard to be together again.

Stay strong

China has been known as the world's factory for everything from toys to T-shirts, and exports have powered its growth in recent years. But exports are taking a hit from the global financial crisis because of lower demand from overseas.

So far, a lot of factories are shut down. All Chinese manufacturers are worried that if their clients are short of capital, they might undergo the same thing. I feel that we are so lucky as we still survive.

It is said that the financial crisis will likely further cut demand from overseas, but I think we will be safe as our products is not something without technology and quality. Yes, are lucky, but more strong!

Enjoy your work

Yesterday evening one of my colleagues told me if you enjoy your work then you will feel happy, live for work and work for live is quite different.

For me, and for most of Chinese I think, we are work for live, so that even if we don't like our job we have to go for it everyday. Then nothing special can be expected to come out as we never make any efforts to do it. Day by day, we feel more and more tired, more and more dull.

I like the one who live for work, he keep all his mind on what he do, he always try hard to finished his job perfectly and always enjoy it. That's why they are easy to succeed and more happy than us.

So, enjoy what you do, you will gain something from the things you concentrate on. Life is short, enjoy today, and work for a better tomorrow!

Indian Buddhism

I am so happy today, because I get a very special gift from one of my India clients. It is a Buddha.

It is said that, in India, Buddhism started with the life of Lord Buddha. He was born as prince Siddartha in the royal family of the Shakya Kingdom. However, he left his home in the search of the real meaning of life. After spending a number of years in asceticism and meditation, he finally attained enlightenment under the Bodice tree in Gaya, Bihar. By 3rd century BC, the religion spread all over South Asia, through the Mauryan Empire.

One of my best friends leave for Guangzhou yesterday, I am so sad as I am getting used to have them accompany, without them I do feel helpless.
